Dmitrii builds and runs the infrastructure that supports METR’s researchers as they assess the risks AI poses. He previously supported researchers at Danaher in their pursuit of better medical diagnostics. Before that, he co-founded Eucalyptus, an early on-prem cloud platform. Dmitrii is drawn to the challenges posed by distributed systems and to sharing solutions through publications and open-source software. Outside work, he starts and sometimes finishes DIY garage projects, walks up and down the hillside stairways of the Bay Area with his spouse, and plays music with his daughter.
